According to the Hindu Scriptures, it is believed that Pitru comes on earth in these 15 days of period.As per legend, if a person fails to perform shraddha of their ancestors during these days or in case they are not aware about the death tithi, then they can perform all the tarpan rituals on the day of ‘Sarvapitra Moksha Amavasya’.
