Shravana Nakshatra Considered as highly auspicious, the name of this Nakshatra has been derived from the mythological character Shravana Kumar, the utmost devoted son to his parents. Shravan belongs to Makar Rashi or the Capricorn. The ruler of this Nakshatra is Lord Vishnu.
