The months of June and July are astrologically special. On a regular year, within a span of 15 days, the world experiences one Solar & Lunar eclipse. But 2020 is a special year we would all be experiencing two Chandra Grahan and one Surya Grahan. The dates for them are as follows: First was the Chandra Grahan that took place on June 5th, 2020. This Sunday on June 21st, 2020 we would be experiencing a Surya Grahan, and on July 5th, 2020 we shall be experiencing another Chandra Grahan. This is a very very rare phenomenon, that is repeating itself after about a few hundred years. Our ancient texts prescribe certain guidelines that one should follow during the Grahan: Chant the Hanuman Chalisa Try and fast. Do not see this phenomenon with naked eyes Avoid too much exposure to Rays of the Sun. We at Jothishi recommend that we chant the Hanuman Chalisa for the upcoming Surya Grahan (i.e on June 21st, 2020) Hanuman Chalisa: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bs
